A single audio session, five focused jobs
Range capture pauses when you leave Range, so Pitch, Tuner, Monitor, and Warm-up cannot contaminate its endpoints. The same calibration and reference-tone path serves the tuner and warm-up, and stopping releases the microphone immediately.

Questions people ask
Does switching modes request the microphone again?
No. While the page session is running, Range, Pitch, Tuner, Monitor, and Warm-up share one AudioContext, one stream, one analyser, and one detector loop. Stop or leave the page to release the tracks.
Why was a range note not accepted?
A range endpoint must be clear and sustained for 300 ms. The live feedback names common reasons such as too light, unclear, too short, unstable, or outside the practical input range.
Is microphone audio uploaded or recorded?
No. The audio signal is processed in this browser. The app does not upload or retain raw audio; local settings and an optional completed range summary are separate browser data.
What does the tuner calibration change?
A4 defaults to 440 Hz and can be adjusted from 432 to 446 Hz. The same calibration is used by target tones, tuner cents, and warm-up feedback.
Does this app diagnose vocal technique or health?
No. It is a real-time practice instrument. Range and pitch feedback cannot assess tessitura, tone, passaggio, vocal health, or pain; stop and seek qualified guidance when something feels wrong.
